CULTURE & DEVOTION

The Festival of India – Vancouver Ratha Yatra is celebrating its 50th year at a new location, Creekside Park, Vancouver! A celebration rich in history, color, and bliss has graced the streets of downtown Vancouver, starting with giant floats hand pulled by thousands amidst the background of singing, dancing and chanting in the streets. The celebrations continue until dusk at Creekside Park, overlooking the majestic waters, mountains and beauty of Downtown Vancouver. Enjoy a free full course vegetarian feast, live entertainment, free children and teen activities and more! We have moved from Stanley Park to make it fully accessible via Main St/Science World Skytrain station and bus routes into Downtown Vancouver. Come and celebrate Festival of India – Vancouver Ratha Yatra’s 50th Anniversary and Feel the Bliss!

“Everyone is hankering for happiness because by nature we are happy : anandamayo ‘bhyasat (Vedanta-sutra 1.1.12). As spirit souls we are naturally happy, blissful.”
– Dharma: The Way of Transcendence / Srila Prabhupada
